<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">I got a lot of my musical tastes from my dad - GOOD old country, hardcore blues, a lot of rockabilly and roots rock (though he didn't know it by name) etc. Got some Stray Cats and Phantom, Rocker, and Slick (former Stray Cats) from him, as well as a lot of Rolling Stones, Beatles (have the White Album on vinyl) and other cool stuff. He had a lot of cajun and zydeco stuff that's really cool too.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Fucking nice list dude, Do you like The Brassknuckle Boys or Pressure point?

[IR696]

thank you, I feel you too!
Sacramento bands are solid, Mike from
Pressure Point is a nice guy too, I just met him once. I guess Whisky Rebels and American Static are currently touring in the states? I just got new Ducky Boys CD "Three Chords and Truths" from Thorp Rec and honestly it's such a phenomenal work by Mark. I'm hoping that next Social D tour would be with Rancid, AF, and SOIA, they are all 'connected' bands. Social D had played shows with SOIA and Murphy's Law in Japan, 1996! Who would you guys want to see at next SD tour?

[xLiberty]

I would Like to see ThrowRag and The Hangmen open for them. That would be great,.

[Kematter]

Saw the Hangmen open up of SD in Dallas & they rocked the house. They did a killer cover of The Lords Of The New Church's "Russian Roulette". Check out ther new LP , it's really good.
